Q: How often should I have my dog groomed?
A: To keep you're dog in good condition, allow 4 and 6 weeks between appointments.
Q: How long will it take to groom my dog?
A: This will depend on your dog's breed, size, temperament and state of the coat. On average it takes about 2 hours, but for large breeds like the Newfoundland three to four hours.
Q: Can I stay with my dog at the parlour?
A: Sorry. Owners are not allowed to stay with their dogs. Dogs tend to settle a lot easier when their owners have left. When you leave the dog with me I will take a contact number and call you when your dog is ready for collection.
Q: How much will it cost?
A: Prices will vary depending on the breed, size and amount of work required. If a dog is very matted you may be charged extra.
Q: Do I need to make an appointment?
A: Appointments are required, as all dogs get one to one attention.
Q: Do you take any breed large or small?
A: Yes I welcome all breeds of dog as long as they are well behaved. All dogs must be fully vaccinated and owners must provide details of any health or behavioural problems associated with their dogs, otherwise I will be unable to accept your dogs.
Q: Do you offer hand stripping?
A: Yes. I will advise you if this service is right for your dog. It depends on coat types.
Q: Could I bring my dog along for just nail clipping?
A: Yes. Just phone and make an appointment.
Q: Can I book my next appointment in advance.
A: Yes, by doing this I can guarantee a day and time to suit your needs. I will even phone you a few days before to remind you of your dog's appointment.
Q: What if I need to cancel my appointment?
A: I require 24 hours notice if you cannot make your appointment. I need to know as soon as possible as this time slot can be filled by someone else. Please note a charge will be given for any missed or very late cancellation.
